Key Qualifications:

  • Current ARRT certification in Interventional Radiology (IR)
  • Valid state license (or eligibility) as applicable
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience as an IR Tech in a clinical setting
  • Strong knowledge of sterile technique and IR procedures (angiography, biopsies, drainage, etc.)
  • Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
  • Adaptability to new systems and environments

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment including fluoroscopy and digital X-ray for IR procedures
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and ancillary staff to ensure safe, efficient patient care
  • Prepare and position patients for procedures, adhering to strict sterile techniques
  • Document clinical information accurately in EMR systems
  • Uphold the highest standards of radiation safety and infection control
