Qualifications:

  • Valid and active School Psychologist license issued by the state of Texas
  • Previous experience working as a School Psychologist within an educational setting is highly valued
  • Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work effectively onsite and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive student assessments and provide recommendations for educational planning
  • Offer consultation services to teachers, parents, and school staff regarding student learning, behavior, and mental health
  • Develop intervention strategies to foster student success
  • Support students through direct or indirect counseling and crisis intervention as needed
  • Contribute to IEP meetings and assist with compliance documentation
