Job Description
Step into an impactful contract opportunity delivering high-quality speech-language therapy to PreK–5th grade students in an engaging school environment. This full-time role offers two immediate openings, providing comprehensive support to eager young learners. Caseload sizes are manageable, with one site at approximately 40 students and the other at about 50, enabling focused attention and meaningful connections.
You’ll collaborate with dedicated teams and make a lasting difference in students’ communication skills through creative, evidence-based interventions. Teletherapy capabilities enhance service flexibility and continuity for students and staff.
Qualifications & Experience:
• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
• Active Georgia SLP license (SLP-CCC or SLP-CF considered)
• Experience in pediatric, school-based, or teletherapy settings strongly preferred
• Ability to evaluate, devise, and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
• Passion for supporting diverse learners and collaborating with educators and families
Your Responsibilities:
• Assess and diagnose communication disorders for PreK–5th grade students
• Develop and deliver individualized therapy plans
• Provide direct speech and language therapy—on-site and/or via telepractice
• Consult regularly with teachers, staff, and families for comprehensive support
• Monitor student progress; maintain accurate, compliant records and documentation
• Attend IEP meetings and contribute insights to student growth plans
• Adapt strategies based on each student’s cultural and individual needs
