Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Appropriate state licensure or eligibility for licensure
- Previous school-based experience preferred, but not required
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organization skills
- Ability to adapt therapy techniques to diverse student populations and age groups
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students to determine the presence of speech, language, or communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students, both individually and in groups
- Maintain detailed session notes and progress reports in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Collaborate regularly with teachers, specialists, and parents to support each child's academic and social success
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Offer consultative support and training to school staff as needed
