Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current SLP-CCC certification
- Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain
- Previous experience working in schools or with K-12 populations is preferred
- Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to K-12 students
- Conduct evaluations and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to address student needs
- Document progress and maintain accurate records in accordance with school policies
- Participate in meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
- Deliver both individual and group therapy sessions, adapting interventions to each student’s needs
- Utilize technology and resources to enhance therapy outcomes
