Job Description
Step into a rewarding contract role working directly with middle and high school students in a vibrant educational environment, beginning August 24, 2026, and continuing through June 10, 2027. Desired qualifications:
- Licensed and certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP, CCC-SLP) with prior school-based experience
- Comfortable working with both middle and high school-aged students
- Experience providing services in an urban school setting
- Familiarity with PA clearance requirements and ability to complete them prior to start
- Proven ability to manage general SLP duties and responsibilities within a school setting
- Reliable transportation for consistent onsite attendance
- Flexibility to work a full-time, 35-hour workweek within the hours of 7:15AM to 4PM, Monday through Friday
- Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy services to a diverse caseload of middle and high school students
- Conduct assessments, develop IEP goals, and track student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district and state requirements
- Attend relevant school meetings and contribute to multi-disciplinary teams
- Provide consultative support to classroom staff as needed
