Job Description
Embark on a rewarding opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a dynamic school environment in the Santa Fe area. This full-time, contract role runs from August 3, 2026, through May 20, 2027, and is entirely onsite, allowing you to make a direct impact in students' lives. You will join a collaborative team with two available positions, each offering the chance to work with caseloads tailored to your background and interests.
Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA
- State license (or eligibility) to practice as an SLP in New Mexico
- Previous experience in school settings strongly preferred
- Familiarity with developing and implementing IEPs
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
- Comfort providing services in a school-based environment
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech-language evaluations and therapy to students with diverse needs
- Develop individualized treatment plans and goals in line with IEP requirements
- Collaborate with educators and families to support student progress
- Document progress and maintain records in accordance with district and federal guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings, multi-disciplinary assessments, and other relevant school activities
- Provide expert support and consultation to teachers and support staff
