We are seeking a dedicated School-Based Contract Occupational Therapist to provide exceptional therapy services that support students' academic achievement, independence, and participation in the school setting. The OT job is near Greenville, SC.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and assessments.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with students' IEP goals.
  • Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students with a variety of disabilities and developmental needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, administrators, parents, and related service providers.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with state, district, and federal regulations.
  • Recommend adaptive equipment, classroom modifications, and sensory strategies to maximize student success.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed.

Qualifications

  • Master's or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Active Occupational Therapy license in the state of practice (or eligibility to obtain).
  • NBCOT certification required.
  • Previous pediatric or school-based experience preferred but not required.
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
