Job Description
Step into a rewarding role working with K-6 students for the upcoming 26/27 school year! This full-time, contracted opportunity is perfect for a Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC) passionate about making a difference in a school-based environment. The assignment begins August 3rd and provides the chance to engage with a diverse caseload of 63 students, helping nurture communication skills at a formative stage.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state SLP license (or eligibility to obtain prior to the start date)
- Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred
- Strong organizational and communication abilities
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning atmosphere
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to K-6 students in accordance with IEP goals
- Conduct evaluations and assessments, collaborating with educators to develop appropriate treatment plans
- Participate in IEP meetings, family conferences, and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to individual student needs
- Offer consultative support to teachers and families to maximize student progress
