With two full-time positions available for the 2026-2027 school year, you’ll play a key role in helping students develop vital communication skills. Your caseload—ranging from classroom-based to individualized settings—will be tailored to your experience and interests, ensuring a dynamic and impactful work experience.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) required
- Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings strongly preferred
- New graduates with relevant clinical placements are encouraged to apply
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and families
- Hold (or eligible for) valid state licensure in New Mexico
Responsibilities:
- Provide therapy and assessment to students with speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Deliver interventions in both classroom and individual therapeutic settings
- Consult with teachers and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Maintain accurate and timely reports, documentation, and progress monitoring
- Engage regularly with parents and caregivers, offering guidance and updates
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute as a collaborative team member
