What We’re Looking For:
- Experience as a General Education Teacher, with particular strengths in elementary-level instruction
- Special Education Certification is highly valued
- Strong classroom management skills and a proactive, collaborative communication style
- Demonstrated ability to pivot between grade levels and support diverse learning needs throughout the school day
- Adaptability, resilience, and commitment to advocating for student growth
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide engaging, individualized instructional support to a focused caseload of 10–15 students, primarily in 3rd grade
- Utilize both push-in and pull-out strategies to assist students and reinforce general education curriculum
- Foster a positive, inclusive classroom climate that promotes academic, social, and emotional progress
- Collaborate thoughtfully with fellow teachers, support staff, and administration to align educational plans, track progress, and ensure each student’s needs are met
- Maintain excellent caseload management and coordinate with the team to advocate for required resources
