General Education Teacher | Salem, New Hampshire

This contract role is dedicated to supporting a hybrid Resource/General Education program, with primary focus on 3rd-grade students and additional flexible support for students in 4th and 5th grades.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instructional support to a manageable group of 10–15 students in 3rd grade, leveraging both push-in and pull-out teaching approaches.
• Deliver flexible, targeted intervention and classroom support to small groups or individual students in 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades as classroom needs evolve.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and administrators to ensure instructional alignment and track student outcomes.
• Establish a positive, structured learning environment that encourages progress and supports diverse learning needs.
• Manage caseload documentation and maintain attentive advocacy for student support and resource requirements.
• Participate fully in ongoing communication and planning with the teacher team.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Special Education Certification is highly valued and considered a strong asset.
• Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing instructional requirements and to support students across multiple grade levels.
• Collaborative mindset with excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Proactive, solution-oriented approach to challenges in the classroom.
• Experience with push-in and pull-out instructional models preferred.
