Step into a meaningful contract opportunity as a Physical Therapist serving K-12 students across multiple campuses near Clermont, FL. As the academic year begins, you’ll play a pivotal role in helping students thrive by providing both direct and indirect physical therapy services across a diverse caseload. You’ll typically cover two to three schools per day, collaborating closely with another PT and PTA to manage approximately 94 students, including some Pre-K learners. Your expertise will support these students in reaching their educational and developmental goals.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid Florida Physical Therapist license required
• Previous experience in school-based settings is highly preferred
• Comfort working with a K-12 (and some Pre-K) caseload, supporting a range of developmental needs
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Must be able to complete district’s credentialing and onboarding process promptly

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and consultative physical therapy services on-site to K-12 students across assigned schools
• Participate in IEP meetings, providing documentation and recommendations for students’ therapy goals and support plans
• Collaborate effectively with PTAs, school staff, and families to facilitate student success
• Maintain accurate records and timely documentation in accordance with district and professional guidelines
• Manage a flexible, itinerant daily schedule, typically serving two or three schools per day with a full-time 7:30am – 4:00pm schedule
