Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Current state licensure as required for school-based practice
  • Previous school-based SLP experience preferred, though not required
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and students
  • Comfortable with individualized and group therapy, IEP development, and progress monitoring

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students
  • Design and implement individualized therapy plans in alignment with IEP goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to create supportive learning environments
  • Deliver engaging therapy sessions tailored to students’ unique needs
  • Document student progress and maintain thorough, compliant records
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute insight for student success
  • Support professional development of staff regarding communication disorders and effective strategies
