Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Active state license to practice as an SLP
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
  • Previous experience in schools preferred, but enthusiastic new graduates are welcome
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Commitment to advocating for students’ communication needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations, assessments, and deliver individualized speech and language therapy
  • Develop and implement goals for students with speech-language disorders
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student achievement
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes in compliance with school and state guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational plans
  • Deliver both group and one-on-one therapy sessions as required
