Enhance communication and foster student growth in a dynamic elementary school environment! An exciting contract opportunity awaits a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) who is dedicated to supporting student success. This onsite role spans the full academic year from August through May, serving approximately 50 students at the elementary level.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Alabama Speech-Language Pathology state license
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
  • Active educator certification
  • School-based SLP experience preferred
  • Strong collaboration and organizational abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assess and diagnose speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in a diverse caseload of elementary students
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's communication needs
  • Work closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support each student's goals
  • Conduct both group and individual therapy sessions onsite
  • Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and timely reporting
  • Participate in IEP meetings, team conferences, and professional development initiatives
  • Provide recommendations and resources for staff and families
  • Adhere to all compliance, confidentiality, and ethical standards required in school settings
