As a valued Speech-Language Pathologist, you’ll collaborate with educators and families to foster student success in classroom and therapy settings. The weekly schedule balances stability and flexibility, with regular hours and clearly defined site assignments including elementary schools in Fredericktown and McDonald, as well as time in Waynesburg, PA. Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Certificate as a Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC required; PA SLP Educator Certification mandatory)
- Experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
- Strong communication skills for engaging with students, staff, and families
- Ability to adapt to varied site environments and maintain effective service delivery across locations
- Comfortable with travel and managing a dynamic caseload
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, intervention, and therapy for students with speech-language needs
- Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Keep precise documentation and contribute to compliance with state and district requirements
- Offer guidance and support to classroom teams regarding student communication strategies
- Engage with families to encourage participation in students’ communication development
