Job Description

This full-time opportunity spans from August 3 to May 21, guiding you through the academic year in a collaborative and rewarding environment.
Key Qualifications:
- Standard Arizona Secondary Teaching License is required
- Specialized K-12 Visually Impaired Special Education Certificate or appropriate endorsement
- IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card (active and valid)
- Experience working with visually impaired students across grade levels is highly desired
- Ability to manage a dynamic caseload and support multiple school locations
- Strong communication, organization, and advocacy skills
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group instruction to visually impaired students, adjusting methods and materials to meet each learner’s unique needs
- Work both independently and collaboratively with general and special education staff
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and monitor progress
- Support the use of assistive technology and accessible materials
- Serve as a resource for students, families, and colleagues regarding visual impairment needs
- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices
