Key Qualifications:
- Valid certification in Special Education with completed Math credits
- OR Teacher of the Handicapped credentials plus Math credits
- Experience working with students with diverse learning needs
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and engaging classroom community
Role Responsibilities:
- Design and implement individualized instructional plans tailored to each student’s needs
- Deliver math curriculum aligned with special education goals and best practices
- Monitor and document student progress, adapting strategies as necessary
- Collaborate closely with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and support staff
- Maintain thorough, accurate records and contribute to IEP development and review
- Foster positive relationships with students and families to support holistic success
- Uphold professional and ethical standards in all educational interactions
