As the dedicated Registered Nurse for one elementary school, you’ll collaborate directly with educators, administration, and the student’s family. A paid, in-person training session is scheduled for July 31st (8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.).

Key Qualifications:

• Active Colorado Registered Nurse license.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing or three years of practical RN experience.
• Current CPR certification.
• Experience supporting pediatric populations, ideally in a school or similar setting.
• Confidence managing ventilator care via tracheostomy, tube feeds via g-tube, and toileting.
• Strong interpersonal skills for family collaboration; ability to participate in both principal and family interviews.

Role Highlights:

• Provide comprehensive 1:1 clinical support to a kindergarten student throughout the school day (Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m.–3:00 p.m.).
• Monitor and respond to the student’s complex medical needs.
• Foster collaborative communication with educators, administration, and family members.
• Participate in a family meeting before the assignment begins (compensated up to a half day).
• Keep detailed care records and support a positive, inclusive experience for the student.
• May be involved in school transportation, to be determined.
