Key Qualifications:

  • Completion of a graduate-level Speech-Language Pathology program
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
  • Active SLP State License and Professional Educator License (PEL)
  • Prior experience delivering speech therapy in a school-based or pediatric setting strongly preferred
  • Ability to develop rapport with students, staff, and families of diverse backgrounds
  • Strong organizational and written/verbal communication skills

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy to elementary-level students individually and in groups
  • Complete evaluations, screenings, and progress reports aligned with IEP requirements
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers, school staff, and families to support student communication targets
  • Participate in IEP meetings, contributing expertise for goal development and progress monitoring
  • Maintain accurate documentation as per school and state guidelines
  • Consult and train staff/family members on strategies to promote student communication in the classroom
