Job Description
Step into a rewarding full-time contract opportunity supporting middle and high school students as a Speech-Language Pathologist for the upcoming 2026-2027 academic year. This position requires onsite dedication, collaborating directly with students and staff to foster communication skills in an engaging urban educational environment.
Starting August 24, 2026, and continuing through June 10, 2027, you will work 35 hours per week between 7:15 AM and 4:00 PM. This is an onsite-only role, as virtual coverage is already in place, and no alternative schedule accommodations can be made.
Essential Qualifications:
- Active SLP-CCC and state licensure, with demonstrated experience in school settings
- Proficient in general speech-language pathology duties for middle and high school caseloads
- Comfortable working within urban school communities
- Reliable transportation for consistent onsite attendance
- Available to commit to the full duration and specified schedule
- Thorough familiarity with completing Pennsylvania state clearances as part of the onboarding process
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language services to an assigned caseload
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families
- Accurately document student progress and participate in multidisciplinary meetings
- Foster an inclusive and supportive environment conducive to student success
