\nDescription
\nGENERAL STATEMENT OF FUNCTIONS
\nResponsible for coordinating and overseeing the development and implementation of individualized program plans for Supported Employment Individual Placement clients.
\nSPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
\n- \n
- Ensures quality in programs and contracts \n
- Assists Program Director in the management of human and physical resources of assigned program \n
- Gives input to decision making team regarding allocation and use of resources \n
- Assists in maintaining expenses and revenue within budgetary guidelines \n
- Supervises, schedules, evaluates and trains assigned staff \n
- Provides counseling and acts as an advocate to clients and staff \n
- Coordinates the development of and monitors progress of individualized client goals \n
- Reports progress of client goals to the Program Director \n
- Assists with job training when needed \n
- Oversees contract placement and job development \n
- Ensures components of intake through job placement are completed in a timely manner by Employment Specialists \n
- Acts as Safety Representative for the office \n
- Ensures a safe and healthy environment and compliance with all safety programs \n
- Implements the Illness and Injury Prevention Program \n
- Ensures files meet organization, funders, and licensing certifying agency standards \n
- Establishes and maintains liaison with EXCEED programs, employment sites, funding agencies and significant others \n
- Prepares reports of activities of the program \n
- Prepares and ensures timely submission of monthly billing for services \n
- Represents EXCEED at assigned meetings and events \n
- Other related duties as assigned \n
QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
\n- \n
- Fully vaccinated-COVID-19 (with booster if eligible) \n
- 21 years or older \n
- Valid California Driver’s License \n
- Acceptable driving record \n
- State minimum required automobile insurance \n
- Ability to develop objectives, evaluate physical, academic and psychological needs, and develop rapport with funding sources, staff and all other persons significant in client's welfare \n
- Ability to do crisis intervention counseling \n
- Possess a great deal of direct knowledge of programs dealing with individuals with developmental disabilities \n
- English grammar and writing skills sufficient to do documentation and report preparation \n

- High school diploma \n
- Prefer at least two (2) years college education \n
- One (1) year of management experience at middle level preferred \n
- Two (2) years experience in related field \n
PHYSICAL ABILITIES
\n- \n
- Ability to sit, stand and walk for long periods of time \n
- Dexterity sufficient to handle and create necessary reports \n
- Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds and demonstrate sufficient balance to negotiate busy areas \n
- Good vision and hearing to relate effectively to staff, clients and employers / contracts \n
MENTAL ABILITIES

- Ability to interpret instructions, communicate to staff and develop and initiate programs and procedures based on these same instructions and/or other varied input \n
- Ability to produce reports and summaries and understand the fundamentals of organization and time management \n
- Ability to meet deadlines and ensure timely submission of information requested \n
- Math skills to produce financial and production reports, purchases and cash \n
- Professionalism and a demeanor of confidence are required \n

POSITION CLASSIFICATION

NORMAL WORK SCHEDULE
\nMonday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Regular flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed to meet operational and program needs.
