Qualifications:
- Current and valid certification in MRI imaging (ARRT-MR or equivalent)
- Active state licensure (or eligibility for licensure in North Carolina)
- Previous experience performing independent MRI procedures preferred
- Solid knowledge of MRI safety protocols and contrast administration
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
- Adaptability in fast-paced, team-oriented environments
Responsibilities:
- Operate MRI scanners to produce clear, diagnostic-quality images
- Prepare and support patients throughout imaging procedures, ensuring comfort and safety
- Accurately position patients and select appropriate imaging parameters
- Collaborate with radiologists and physicians regarding image quality and findings
- Maintain accurate records and adhere to facility safety and compliance policies
- Troubleshoot technical issues with imaging equipment when necessary
