Occupational Therapist School Setting - Eden Prairie, MN

Step into a fulfilling opportunity supporting students as a long-term Occupational Therapy substitute working in a vibrant school environment from September 9th through November 30th. This full-time contract role offers specialized experience working across two elementary schools, with a focus on skill-building, supervision, and providing hands-on OT support.

Key Qualifications:

• Current Occupational Therapist license in Minnesota
• Previous experience with school-based OT services preferred
• Comfort and experience working with neurodiverse populations and students with autism
• Ability to collaborate with and supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs)
• Strong communication, organizational, and time management abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy interventions and assessments to support student participation, access, and progress in educational settings
• At Bremhall Elementary (.4 FTE), provide supervision and guidance to a COTA working extensively in a center-based autism classroom
• At Little Canada Elementary (.6 FTE), manage a full OT caseload, delivering comprehensive services, developing IEP goals, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
• Maintain accurate documentation, monitor student progress, and communicate regularly with families and education partners
• Support the facilitation of inclusive learning environments through targeted strategies and accommodations
