School-Based Physical Therapist - Norristown, Pennsylvania

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Physical Therapy licensure in Pennsylvania
• Experience working in educational settings with K-12 students
• Familiarity with IEPs and therapeutic goal setting
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with teachers, families, and other therapists
• Adaptable and proactive approach to varied school caseloads

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to identify students’ physical therapy needs
• Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans aligned with students’ goals and IEP requirements
• Deliver direct therapy services, focusing on improving functional mobility, gross motor skills, and promoting inclusion in the school environment
• Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to provide training and guidance on strategies for supporting students during school routines
• Maintain clear, accurate documentation of evaluations, progress notes, and recommendations
• Participate in IEP meetings to discuss progress and provide expertise on physical therapy interventions
