Multiple opportunities are available, including full-year and maternity leave assignments, working in person with a diverse school population. Candidates should have at least 2–3 years of experience post-ASHA SLP certification, with a strong foundation in pediatric and school-based speech-language pathology.

Your expertise will be valued as you guide students with a range of communication needs and supervise dedicated SLPAs. Your background in teletherapy, school, and healthcare settings will help deliver high-quality, individualized care.

Qualifications:

  • Current ASHA SLP certification, with at least 2–3 years of post-certification experience
  • Background working in school settings, with pediatric populations
  • Willingness to supervise up to three SLPAs (each with a caseload of up to 55 students)
  • Experience conducting Special Education Eligibility Evaluations (initial and re-evaluations)
  • Comfort with IEP process: attending meetings, presenting data, making recommendations
  • Solid documentation skills for progress reports and data collection
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing caseloads depending on student needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech-language therapy to school-aged children
  • Supervise SLPAs, ensuring quality care, compliance, and thorough reporting
  • Collaborate with teams for IEP meetings and contribute expert input
  • Write and update IEPs for assigned students
  • Complete eligibility evaluations and re-evaluations in compliance with special education procedures
