Bring your speech-language expertise to a supportive school environment near Burlington, VT as a vital member of a dedicated education team. This contract opportunity is ideal for an SLP, SLP-CFY, or SLPA seeking a flexible, part-time schedule. Work closely with a small yet dynamic caseload of 15 students ranging from pre-school through 4th grade—all at a single, close-knit campus.
You’ll provide individualized and group services, supporting students’ communication skills while collaborating with educators and families. The school is open to candidates at various experience levels, including recent graduates seeking their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) or SLPAs eager to grow with the benefit of professional supervision.
What we’re seeking:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or completion of relevant accredited program for SLPAs
- Current or eligible state licensure
- Open to candidates with CCC-SLP, CFY, or SLPA credentials
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Enthusiasm for working with younger students (preK-4th grade)
Key responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of 15 students, some requiring services five days per week
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and deliver individualized therapy for students’ speech and language needs
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records
- Consult and collaborate with teachers and support staff to support integrated learning
- Participate in IEP meetings and help develop relevant goals and interventions
- Attend in-service on August 21st; student sessions begin August 26th
