Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Current licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA), SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, or equivalent
- Experience in school-based settings preferred, but strong clinical or fieldwork backgrounds also welcome
- Passion for working with children in ECSE (Early Childhood Special Education) through 1st grade
- Familiarity with interventions in articulation, language, and pragmatic skills (AAC experience not required)
- Strong organizational skills to manage a weekly caseload
- Commitment to fostering communication growth and building positive relationships with students, staff, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to students with diverse communication needs in grades ECSE through 1st grade
- Collaborate with supervising SLPs—supervision available for Clinical Fellows (CF)
- Collect data and assist in progress monitoring for student goals
- Maintain appropriate documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings, as needed, and consult with educators and support staff
- Communicate regularly with families to encourage carryover of skills
