Job Description
Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist, supporting students for the full academic year in a vibrant educational setting near the scenic Monterey area. Both Clinical Fellows (CFs) and those holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) are encouraged to apply—you’ll be welcomed into a collaborative, student-focused environment.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility to obtain before start date)
- CCC credential preferred, but Clinical Fellows are also considered and supported
- Experience in school settings a plus, but not required
- Commitment to providing dynamic, engaging therapy in-person
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver a full range of speech and language therapy services to K-12 students
- Conduct evaluations, develop individualized education programs (IEPs), and collaboratively participate in IEP meetings
- Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to foster student success and inclusion
- Maintain records of student progress and document services per school and district guidelines
- Serve as a proactive resource for staff and families on communication needs and strategies
