An on-site school-based position is available for a committed School Psychologist to work closely with students, staff, and families during the 2026-2027 school year. What you'll need to bring:
- Active and valid School Psychologist license in Texas
- Experience or knowledge in educational or school-based psychology settings
- Strong assessment, consultation, and collaborative skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with students, families, and interdisciplinary teams
- Flexibility and a passion for fostering student success
Key responsibilities will include:
- Administering psychological and educational assessments to support accurate student evaluations
- Collaborating with teachers, counselors, and other faculty on intervention strategies
- Participating in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contributing expert recommendations
- Providing counseling services as needed and crisis intervention support
- Maintaining clear and accurate documentation according to district and state guidelines
- Offering consultation and training to staff and families to foster a supportive school environment
