Registered Nurse School Setting - Glendale, AZ

Your role will be focused on providing one-on-one care to a student, ensuring their health, safety, and well-being throughout the school day.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Current, valid, and unrestricted Arizona Registered Nurse (RN) license or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing, or a multistate privilege from another compact state.
• Active CPR certification.
• IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card required.
• Prior experience as a school nurse or with pediatric care strongly preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills.
• Compassion, patience, and reliability working in a school setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver 1:1 nursing care to a designated student, addressing specific medical needs during school hours.
• Administer medications, manage health plans, and perform necessary treatments as prescribed.
• Maintain accurate records of care provided and keep communication open with families and school staff.
• Respond promptly to health emergencies or medical issues that may arise during the day.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed for the student.
• Uphold confidentiality and ethical medical standards in all care actions.
