Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Active OT license in Oregon (or eligibility to obtain)
- Experience working in school settings, preferably with elementary and/or secondary students
- Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with teachers, administrators, and families
- Adaptability to work with various age groups and needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students’ fine motor, sensory, and functional skills within the school environment
- Develop individualized intervention plans supporting academic success and participation
- Collaborate with teachers and support staff to integrate strategies and accommodations into daily routines
- Complete required documentation, including assessments and progress reports, in a timely manner
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise on occupational therapy needs and solutions
- Engage families in the therapeutic process, offering resources and guidance as needed
