Desired Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active OT license in Oregon (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Experience working in school settings, preferably with elementary and/or secondary students
  • Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation
  • Strong communication skills for collaboration with teachers, administrators, and families
  • Adaptability to work with various age groups and needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate students’ fine motor, sensory, and functional skills within the school environment
  • Develop individualized intervention plans supporting academic success and participation
  • Collaborate with teachers and support staff to integrate strategies and accommodations into daily routines
  • Complete required documentation, including assessments and progress reports, in a timely manner
  • Participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise on occupational therapy needs and solutions
  • Engage families in the therapeutic process, offering resources and guidance as needed
