Physical Therapist - School Setting in Arlington Heights, IL

This contract position offers the flexibility to choose between part-time (4 days per week) or full-time (5 days per week) schedules, making it ideal for those seeking a healthy work-life balance. Work hours are from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday, across two school sites and specialized program locations.

What You’ll Bring:

• Valid Physical Therapist license required
• Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred

Your Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and consultative PT services to students from kindergarten to age 22
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs
• Collaborate with educators, school staff, and families to ensure appropriate services and accommodations
• Document progress, participate in IEP meetings, and contribute to team evaluations
• Adapt therapeutic techniques for a variety of developmental and physical challenges
• Provide consultative support to staff regarding positioning, mobility, and wellness strategies
