Job Description
Make a meaningful difference supporting elementary students’ success on a flexible, part-time contract basis. This opportunity calls for a skilled professional to provide essential psychological services over three days each week. As a valued partner working with a diverse elementary caseload, you’ll play a crucial role in evaluation, intervention, and ongoing student support.
Key Qualifications:
- Illinois School Psychologist certification, active and in good standing
- Demonstrated experience working in school settings, especially with elementary-aged students
- Strong background in conducting psychoeducational evaluations and behavioral observations
- Familiarity with MTSS (Multi-Tiered System of Supports) processes
- Confident communicator in team settings and during meetings with staff and parents
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive student assessments and evaluations
- Perform classroom and student observations to inform interventions
- Assist with the implementation and documentation related to the MTSS process
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss findings and recommendations
- Collaborate with educators, families, and additional specialists to support student growth and school initiatives
This contract position offers the flexibility of a three-day workweek, allowing you to balance your professional life alongside other commitments. In addition to a highly competitive pay structure between $53 and $58 per hour, eligible professionals may qualify for healthcare benefits, as well as housing and meals/incidentals allowances.
