This full-time contract position begins August 3rd and extends throughout the 2026/2027 school year. You’ll work with a diverse caseload of 63 students in grades K-6, offering your expertise in assessment, intervention, and collaboration. The supportive school environment will help you make a meaningful impact as you address communication disorders and support student growth.

Your core mission will involve delivering direct and consultative speech-language therapy for young learners in an elementary school setting. Bring your knowledge, compassion, and clinical skills to help students thrive academically and socially.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • Valid SLP licensure for practice in Tennessee
  • Experience working in school settings, preferably with elementary-aged students
  • Strong documentation, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams

Your Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders for students in K-6
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in eligibility and planning meetings
  • Provide recommendations and training to teachers and families
  • Foster an inclusive and supportive environment for every student
