This opportunity is perfect for passionate Speech-Language Pathologists or SLPAs who are seeking a position with manageable hours near Tiverton, RI. Qualifications:

  • Active RI SLP license required
  • RIDE (Rhode Island Department of Education) certification required
  • Experience in schools, pediatrics, or healthcare settings strongly preferred
  • Open to SLP-CCC, CFY, and SLPA candidates with school or healthcare experience
  • Teletherapy experience is a plus
  • Strong communication and documentation abilities
  • Positive, collaborative attitude

Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech-language evaluations and therapeutic interventions to elementary and/or secondary students
  • Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and contribute to goal setting
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to implement strategies
  • Maintain clear and accurate records in alignment with RI and district standards
  • Offer support through direct on-site services or teletherapy, as needed
  • Deliver services two days per week as part of a flexible, part-time schedule
  • Support students’ communication, academic, and social success
