Physical Therapist - School Setting in Apopka, FL
Job Description

This full-time role will have you working closely with a collaborative team, providing itinerant PT services across multiple campuses for the 2026-2027 school year. Expect a diverse caseload serving K-12 students, including some Pre-K, and enjoy the variety that comes with supporting 2 to 3 schools per day alongside another PT and PTA.
Qualifications & Desired Background:
- Valid Florida professional license in Physical Therapy
- Previous experience in school-based therapy is strongly preferred, but applications from candidates with other relevant settings are welcome
- Ability to manage both direct and indirect services for a varied caseload
- Strong organizational and communication skills to navigate multiple campuses
- Comfortable with timely onboarding and credentialing steps, including procedural agreements and data forms
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and indirect physical therapy services to students as determined by IEPs
- Collaborate closely with teachers, paraprofessionals, and other related service staff
- Travel between assigned schools each day, servicing 94 students (caseload divided)
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including timesheets and service logs
- Comply with district-specific requirements and onboarding processes, ensuring all credentials are current
