Job Description
Inspire young learners as an itinerant special education teacher serving preschoolers in community-based settings near Philadelphia, PA. This contract opportunity offers a dynamic workweek (Monday through Friday, 8:00 am – 3:30 pm) and the chance to make a meaningful difference for students with a broad range of special education needs. With a manageable caseload of approximately 30 children, you’ll be able to focus on providing individualized support as you travel to different preschools within the local community.

Desired Qualifications:
- Hold valid Pennsylvania certification in PK-4 and/or special education (emergency permits are not accepted)
- Previous experience working with preschool-aged children in special education preferred

- Ability to travel between community preschool locations in the area
- Strong collaborative mindset and dedication to inclusive education
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct special education instruction and support to children in various preschool settings
- Develop, implement, and adapt lesson plans tailored to individual student IEPs
- Collaborate with community preschool staff and families to foster student growth
- Maintain accurate records and track student progress
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to ongoing education planning
