LHH is seeking an experienced Litigation Legal Assistant with a background in insurance defense to join a collaborative litigation team. This fully onsite position with a respected law firm offers the opportunity to provide direct support to attorneys and paralegals in a sophisticated insurance defense litigation practice.

Responsibilities:
  • E-filing, Managing calendars, schedules, and daily administrative tasks for attorneys and litigation teams
  • Coordinating meetings, deadlines, and case-related activities to ensure timely progression
  • Drafting and handling legal correspondence, including letters, memos, and filings
  • Organizing, maintaining, and updating digital and physical case files
  • Conducting legal and case law research to support litigation efforts
  • Preparing, formatting, and reviewing legal documents for accuracy and compliance
  • Assisting with billing and administrative tasks related to cases
  • Maintaining strong attention to detail while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications:
  • Substantial experience in complex civil litigation or similar legal roles is highly desirable.
  • Expertise in e-Filing, Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Exceptional organizational and administrative abilities with a strong emphasis on precision and detail.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills, with meticulous attention to grammar, punctuation, and style.
  • Proficient in proofreading to ensure documents are error-free and meet high standards.
  • Capable of efficiently managing multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Associate degree or equivalent experience in a related field is required.
Anticipated Salary Range: $60K to $70K

Pay Details: $60,000.00 to $70,000.00 per year
