Your qualifications and experience:
- Hold a valid Speech-Language Pathology license (California credential preferred or eligibility to obtain)
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Experience working within a school setting or with school-aged children is highly desired
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Passion for supporting student growth and building rapport with middle school learners
In this role, you will:
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders for middle school students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on IEP requirements
- Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and other specialists to support student progress
- Offer direct therapy services, both individual and group, tailored to students' needs
- Maintain thorough documentation and participate in IEP meetings as an essential team member
- Provide ongoing support, guidance, and resources for educators and families
