Job Description
Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years Stepdown RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This contract role is ideal for experienced registered nurses who excel in complex clinical scenarios and can prioritize patient safety while fostering compassionate care.
Key Qualifications:
- Current and unrestricted RN license
- Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in a stepdown or progressive care setting
- Proven ability to conduct thorough patient assessments and respond promptly to changes in patient status
- Proficiency with telemetry and advanced monitoring equipment
- Strong documentation and communication skills
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive care to stepdown patients, including medication administration, wound care, and routine assessments
- Identify and address subtle changes in patient condition, escalating care as needed
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient-specific care plans
- Maintain meticulous and timely documentation in accordance with facility protocols
- Educate patients and their families on care plans, expected outcomes, and discharge instructions
