Qualifications:
- Current certification or licensure as a School Psychologist in Illinois
- Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology or a related field
- Experience with PreK-12 student populations preferred
- Knowledge of multi-tiered systems of support and Response to Intervention (RTI) frameworks
- Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills
- Ability to develop and implement effective interventions and support plans
- Excellent organizational, communication, and teamwork abilities
- Experience with Special Education processes and IEP meetings is desirable
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological and academic assessments to identify student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and monitor IEPs and 504 plans
- Provide individual and group counseling to address social-emotional and behavioral challenges
- Facilitate and participate in student support meetings, including crisis intervention as needed
- Support implementation of behavior intervention plans and positive behavioral supports
- Work with school staff to promote a positive, inclusive, and safe learning climate
- Assist with professional development opportunities and training for faculty and staff
