Qualifications:

  • Current certification or licensure as a School Psychologist in Illinois
  • Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology or a related field
  • Experience with PreK-12 student populations preferred
  • Knowledge of multi-tiered systems of support and Response to Intervention (RTI) frameworks
  • Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills
  • Ability to develop and implement effective interventions and support plans
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and teamwork abilities
  • Experience with Special Education processes and IEP meetings is desirable

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological and academic assessments to identify student needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and monitor IEPs and 504 plans
  • Provide individual and group counseling to address social-emotional and behavioral challenges
  • Facilitate and participate in student support meetings, including crisis intervention as needed
  • Support implementation of behavior intervention plans and positive behavioral supports
  • Work with school staff to promote a positive, inclusive, and safe learning climate
  • Assist with professional development opportunities and training for faculty and staff
