Embark on a meaningful contract opportunity supporting students from kindergarten through twelfth grade in a diverse educational network. This position will be active from August 17, 2026, through May 28, 2027, offering a chance to make a significant impact across several campuses. The role involves working 4 to 7 hours per day, with specific days per week determined based on whether you join in a full-time or part-time capacity.

Primary responsibilities include evaluating and addressing the psychological and educational needs of students, many of whom are classified as Autistic, Intellectually Disabled, or Emotionally Disabled. Your expertise will benefit students across up to 10 primary schools—travel between locations is expected for those working on site, as schools span a considerable distance within the district. Virtual participation is possible, with paraeducators supporting facilitation.

Qualifications and desired experience:

  • Valid Utah School Psychologist license required
  • Open to both experienced professionals and new graduates eager to make a difference
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse learners and disabilities
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
  • Comfort with a flexible routine, including the possibility of extensive travel between schools or supporting services virtually

Key responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of students’ learning and behavioral needs
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement IEPs
  • Provide consultative support to teachers and parents
  • Deliver crisis intervention and counseling as needed
  • Maintain thorough documentation to ensure compliance with district and legal standards
