Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Boiling Springs, SC

This full-time contract position (37.5 hours per week) offers the opportunity to work with a collaborative educational team serving a diverse K-12 student population. You’ll enjoy a manageable caseload of up to 60 students, but often less, allowing you to provide focused, individualized support.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Active South Carolina SLP license and valid Educator certification required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Prior experience in school settings highly valued
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities with students, staff, and families
• Comfortable working onsite with K-12 students
• Excellent organizational and documentation skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct screenings, evaluations, and develop individualized treatment plans for a K-12 caseload
• Provide direct speech and language therapy to support students’ academic and social success
• Collaborate with other educators, therapists, and support staff to integrate therapy into students’ educational programs
• Participate in IEP meetings, provide progress updates, and maintain thorough records
• Educate and train teachers and family members regarding communication strategies for student support
• Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations for speech services in educational settings
