IT Project Manager
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Project Manager for an immediate 1–2 month contract supporting a Washington, DC-based association. This individual will help manage a large portfolio of internal technology initiatives while the organization conducts its permanent search. This is an immediate 1–2 month contract requiring two days per week onsite in Washington, DC. Candidates must be comfortable accepting a short-term engagement.
Responsibilities
- Manage multiple concurrent software-development, systems-integration, and vendor-supported IT projects, ensuring priorities, deadlines, risks, and deliverables remain on track.
- Coordinate communication among internal business stakeholders, offshore development teams, software engineers, and technology vendors, translating technical information for nontechnical audiences.
- Maintain project plans, status updates, documentation, and stakeholder alignment in a fast-paced environment with a significant volume of active projects.
Qualifications
- At least five years of experience managing IT projects and software-development initiatives, with a strong understanding of the SDLC, systems integrations, and Agile methodologies.
- PMP certification and demonstrated experience managing multiple projects, offshore teams, vendors, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, organization, and prioritization skills; nonprofit, association, Personify, or LMS experience is strongly preferred.

This job is Hybrid Remote.
Pay Range: Hourly $60.00 to $65.00
