Position Summary
We are looking for a highly qualified Interventional Radiologist to become part of our multidisciplinary team at the Interventional Radiology Center in Clearwater, FL. In this position, you will be responsible for interpreting diagnostic imaging and executing a comprehensive range of image-guided interventional procedures that support the diverse urologic services we provide. This role presents an exciting opportunity to significantly contribute to a growing urology service line and work closely with urologists, oncologists, and other healthcare professionals in a patient-focused setting.
Primary Responsibilities
Analyze various imaging studies, including CT, MRI, ultrasound, fluoroscopy, and nuclear medicine related to urologic and related conditions.
Conduct interventional radiology procedures such as biopsies, drainages, vascular access, embolization, nephrostomy tube placements, and other minimally invasive, image-guided therapies.
Collaborate with referring physicians to suggest suitable imaging techniques and procedural strategies.
Engage in clinical decision-making, patient education, and effectively communicate imaging results.
Ensure compliance with quality assurance standards, radiation safety, and imaging protocols.
Qualifications
MD or DO degree from a recognized medical institution.
Board certification or eligibility in Diagnostic Radiology, with fellowship training in Interventional Radiology.
Active medical license in Florida or eligibility for licensure in the state.
Strong technical skills in diagnostic imaging and image-guided procedures.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities, with a collaborative, team-oriented approach.
