Desired Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid School Psychologist certification or license in North Carolina (or eligibility)
  • Master’s or specialist-level degree in School Psychology
  • Experience providing psychological services within an educational setting, preferably with secondary grade levels
  • Strong knowledge of assessment tools and best practices for testing and evaluations
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer, score, and interpret assessments for psychoeducational evaluations

  • Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and consultation as needed to support student well-being
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to address academic, behavioral, and emotional concerns
  • Support compliance with state and federal regulations for special education services
  • Maintain thorough documentation and timely reports
