School Psychologist | Durham, North Carolina

In this dynamic contract opportunity located near Durham, NC, you’ll contribute to the success and well-being of students in grades 7–12 as a full-time school psychologist. Key Qualifications & Expertise:

• Current School Psychologist credential or license (or eligibility for credential in North Carolina)
• Master’s or higher degree in School Psychology or a related field
• Demonstrated experience with psycho-educational testing, evaluations, and report writing
• Knowledge of behavioral and academic interventions for middle and high school students
• Familiarity with IEP processes and best practices in special education
• Strong communication skills for engaging with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced school setting

Your Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations for students in grades 7–12, utilizing a variety of tools and techniques
• Interpret evaluation findings and make recommendations to support student learning and success
• Work closely with special education teams to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Provide consultation to teachers, administrators, and families regarding academic, behavioral, and emotional concerns
• Participate actively in RTI and MTSS processes to help identify and support students’ unique needs
• Maintain detailed documentation and complete reports in compliance with school and state requirements

This is a full-time role, typically 37.5 hours each week, allowing you to immerse yourself fully in the school environment and cultivate meaningful connections with students and staff.
