Make a meaningful impact in the lives of students by providing Occupational Therapy services within a dynamic educational setting. This contract-based opportunity is designed for professionals who excel at working independently and adapting to evolving caseloads. Openings include two full-time, full school year roles, and one full-time maternity leave coverage from approximately August to March.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Active California Occupational Therapy license required
  • Robust background in California school settings, specifically supporting students ages 3–22 with diverse and multiple disabilities
  • Proven experience administering the BOT-3 and Peabody assessments
  • Demonstrated strength in translating data into actionable recommendations, especially when addressing parent concerns or justifying services
  • Flexible and self-reliant, able to independently manage a fluctuating caseload and craft your own schedule according to district priorities
  • Prepared for itinerant assignments and comfortable providing services with limited onsite support
  • Spanish-speaking ability is highly valued though not mandatory
  • Experience supporting K-12 populations across mild to severe need levels

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough occupational therapy assessments and develop treatment plans aligned with student needs
  • Deliver direct and consultative OT services per IEP requirements
  • Manage fluctuating caseloads, prioritizing students and assessments as district needs shift
  • Maintain meticulous records of evaluations, interventions, and progress
  • Collaborate with families and school staff, translating evaluation data into clear recommendations and actionable plans
  • Travel between schools as necessary for itinerant assignments
